Allowing pain for the purpose of getting rid of it doesn’t really help you heal, and it might even keep you stuck in the pain and discomfort.
Allowing pain to be with you, giving yourself permission to grieve, to be sad…helps you move through an experience to healing and is called clean pain.
As you feel and process your pain from a place of curiosity, love, compassion and understanding, you are able to move through it to the other side where you have more clarity and learn what your pain is trying to teach you.
Dirty pain keeps us stuck, reliving our trauma or unwanted emotions. Clean pain helps us move through to healing.
